Cervical Spondylysis

In this neck problem which is very common now a days between all ages of society from school going kids to dentist, computer operator, teachers, doctor doing scopics surgeries, frequent air travelers, office bearers from clerks to administrators using over size pillow, watching TV most of the time wrong exercises including wrong Yoga postures, weight lifters, body builders,  etc. etc. etc.

          In this * stifners/pain in neck and muscles surrounding neck on the uppers point starting from lower part of head,*  muscles involved both sides of collars,* some times pain in any part of arm or arms, in fingers/ hand or hands etc. * Numbness of finger or fingers, hand or any part of  arm or arms but in some cases numbness of whole arm.
  1. Fizziness/ Drowzziness, * problem of equilibrium or balancing etc. * pain in head or some part of head * Swallwing or inflammation  of finger/ fingers or hand/hands.

  2. Causes:- Why this occurs

              Where head most of the time get fixed and bended for more times. Muscles get stiffen and gap between the each vertebrae get shortened and the disc present between these vertebrae pushed  towards backside and presses the adjacent nerve root and disturbing its nerve supply to the adjacent muscles or organ.

  • Asans:-
    Important:- sequence, timing and intensity
    1. Taan Asan.
    2. Ghutne Chalan.
    3. Ghutne Chalan with one leg (After 5 days)
    4. Ghutne Chalan on your stomach.
    5. Bhujang Asan :- Rotation on head on both sides looking at the feet.
    6. Bhujang Asan:- not straitning up arms full.
    7. Shalabh Asan :- With one leg.
    8. Shalabh Asan :- with both legs together.
    9. Supta Vajra Asan :- with folded head with the help of some body.
    10. Kandhe Chalan.
    11. Kanghi Chalan.
    12. Ardh Chandra Asan.
    13. Ardh Parvat Asan.
    14. Ushtra Asan.
    15. Matseya Asan (Fish postures).
    16. Vriksh and Chakra Asans can be added to some cases depending upon the age and health but not recommended in first two weeks.
  • Precautions

    These are for four weeks only.
    Avoid jerks, lifting of weight, traveling long distances while driving with bended or working with stationery position of head persons living in cold whether countries can use warm water to drink and bath.


  • Time & Temprature

    For suffering peoples no time limit is there when any body can feel comfortable , Yoga can be practiced but with empty stomach or four hours after  meals. A.C can be used in summer but never in between the Yoga session. Temprature should be equally maintained initially.
